This was one of those days when I went into the city without any plan. Even 30 minutes earlier, I didn’t know if I would head to the city center or take any photos at all. Fortunately, the beautiful Sunday sun was too much to ignore, so I took the car, paid for one hour of parking, and spent exactly one hour photographing.
Besides the usual street scenes, I visited Zagreb Cathedral, which was opened to the public for the first time in the last five years. In March 2020, Zagreb was hit by a strong earthquake that heavily damaged the cathedral, along with many historic buildings in the city center, making this visit a small but meaningful moment in the city’s ongoing recovery.
All photos were taken with the Fujifilm X-Pro1 and the Fujifilm 35mm (50mm on full frame), edited with the FUTC Neutral (Fujifilm) Lightroom preset with a small personal tweak.
